Five Pound & Twa Bairns

Five Pound & Twa Bairns: A highly successful production of the Scottish musical "Five Pound & Twa Bairns" was staged at the Dundee REP Theatre in Scotland between January 30 and February 1.

A substantial proportion of the box office proceeds will be donated to Friends of Bianca, together with Mike Gibb's playwright royalty and monies received from the sale of the programmes and CDs.

The play was professionally recorded and a DVD will be released soon with Friends of Bianca again enjoying the profits from its sale.

Donation Collection:

A group of Friends of Bianca volunteers, led by Linda and Allan spent Saturday February 2 at a Tesco superstore in Aberdeen, bag packing and receiving donations for the continuing support of Friends of Bianca and the shelter in Sesimbra Portugal.

Thank you Linda and Allan and all the other volunteers!

New Ambassador!

Diana Gabaldon, well know author of the award winning "Outlander" series, has agreed to be an ambassador for Friends of Bianca. As well as being an author, Diana is also a dog lover and donned a Bianca t-shirt to show her support for the work of the shelter in Sesimbra, Portugal.
Thank you Diana and to Mike Gibb for asking her.
